HP : 3D Printing

Collaborated with JNORIG to designed a fully 3D-printed dress paired with sunglasses. Utilizing Multijet Fusion technology and TPU material, we achieved remarkable results.

HP supports JNORIG in the creation of JNORIG’s first 3D printed dress by sponsoring the material bucket along with the printing and cleaning service using multijet fusion technology utilizing TPU.

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is very unique in comparison to the widely available 3D printing materials.

Unlike very stiff composite parts, 3D printing with TPU applies many benefits of additive manufacturing: strong, flexible, rubber/like parts. TPU is used to produce durable parts with rubber like properties, without needing casts or molds. It can stretch more than 5x it’s original shape before failing.

The Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing technology speedily produces accurate and finely detailed complex parts with powdered thermoplastics. Through this valuable sponsorship JNORIG is able to 3D print a full dress along with it’s prestigious sunglasses.
